I first purchased the Kindle version and read it on vacation. There was so much good in it that I wanted to hard copy for my ham radio library. Of course, this is about portable wire antennas, only. Like any antenna, they have their strengths and weaknesses. Not only has the author given us details about the various designs, but he has listed the pro's and cons. The tone of the book is of someone who is presenting the information humbly. He requests corrections, updates, etc., and frequently lists other resources. It is a book that is very much in the spirit of amateur radio.
