I bought this to use as a J2534 pass thru device for my Roush Mustang. I am installing the Phase 3 upgrade kit which requires updating the software using the Roush RDT tool on a laptop. After installing everything and updating the VXDIAG VCX Nano I opened the Roush RDT tool and it recognized it as the pass thru device. I'm very pleased so far, I haven't connected it to my car yet as I'm not ready to install the kit
