    Water stopper

    I recently purchased the sun and water shield by scotch guard. I had read many reviews and was convinced that this was the product that I needed. Unfortunately it was unavailable in any of the big box stores. Then I checked eBay. It came super quick, and the products performance has been just as described. After treating my cushions and umbrella I spilled some water onto a cushion. Not only did it bead right up, it wiped off leaving the surface relatively dry. However it doesn't treat very much so I suggest buying multiple cans.

    Doesn't protect like I hoped.

    It seems like a good value and I used a full can on my outdoor rug. However, we have had some rain and I already have mold so it must not protect as well as I hoped. I put it on when rug was dry and it rained probably 2 or 3 days after .

    The protection from sun damage we need

    It was a bit pricy. You can often find a better price but I needed it right away, We purchased a new cover for our patio umbrella. The old one disintegrated from sun damage so I want to make sure this new one is protected, We've used this product on other outdoor furniture covers and it has made a difference.
