Yealink has integrated their VoIP phone operating system seamlessly onto Android. I've had the older SIP-T48G model and the configuration and operation of this SIP-T58A is virtually the same. Yealink has retained just the essential "hard" control buttons to support phone-specific functions, since the fully-implemented touchscreen eliminates the need for old-style controls like arrow, enter, etc. The resulting operating feel is extremely smooth and natural. The reason for not rating this phone with five stars is that Yealink has created a "semi-closed" version of Android. While it is possible to install "third-party" apps using a provisioning server, very few users outside of corporate IT departments will be prepared to handle the complexity of such a deployment. Home and small business users should plan on sticking with the factory-installed apps.Read full review
