Great product but administering is tiresome.
Overall, a very good product. Build quality is excellent. Mapping accuracy is adequate. I bought the ODB device and one installed my Motosafety device stuck out like a sore thumb. I removed a strain relief cable tie from the wires that went to my ODB socket and was able to tuck the entire socket and device completely out of view. The daily notifications are valuable and can also be disabled easily enough if desired. The only issues I have with the user interface are that: 1) the posted speed limits depicted on the map are not always correct so I have to check each speeding violation manually to determine if the map depicts the correct speed limit for the road in question and a 2) the "edit speed limit" function is cumbersome. So then you have to use trial and error to determine where exactly the map perceives that the name change occurs to be able to successfully correct the speed limit. Another thing that I find odd is that we have no control over the settings for "rapid acceleration" and "harsh braking". I have no idea how rapid or harsh they are in real life. I would benefit from a video that illustrates these concepts. This is certainly not a showstopper, but I would like to understand how abrupt these event violations actually are. I would definitely recommend this to every parent of a new teen driver.
