Made at the new Reno, NV factory. This product is American quality for cheap!
This American-Made vise head fits nearly all PanaVise bases. Made in Reno, NV at their new manufacturing facility, this is solid cast aluminum alloy, with a hardened tool steel threaded screw. The jaws are interchangeable. I just ordered a complete new set of nylon and steel jaws, right here on EBAY. I've used this vise so much, I can't imagine soldering a circuit board, filing an aluminum chassis, or pressing a plastic fitment into a face plate without it. Our local Altex and Fry's Electronics stores are almost always SOLD OUT of their PANAVISE parts. Because they are an American tool, every electronics tech, prototyping tech, gunsmith, 3D Printer tech, and CNC engraver tech I know has at least one PANAVISE. Me? Yeah, I have an extra wide jaw, a circuit board jaw, and this standard model. ... This American-Made vise head fits nearly all PanaVise bases. Very good vise head
This PanaVise model 303 vise head works great when connected to their standard bases and especially when used with their soldering station combo. The only thing lacking in this new model which was present in the older version is a small groove so that round objects (like a piece of conduit) can be held securely.
