Mercer Paring Knife
This cutlery arrives on the premises as a "ready to be used instrument", no whetting or honing required. Certainly, I'd classify it as a "great" piece of merchandise and one you'll cherish over the years as will your children and grandchildren. I highly recommend it as a kitchen implement, quite necessary in food preparation. It will become more loved with each day's use, get one!

Its a paring knife
Knife shipped quick and was packaged well. It was a bit dull compared to my Mercer Renaissance, but was also 2/3 the price.

Don't buy these knives!!!
The knives are sharp--that's about the only good thing to say about them. They are not sturdy --they are so lightweight and thin, you an hardly feel them in your hands. And I don't think you could ever sharpen them--the blades are too thin for sharpening. The only reason I didn't send them back immediately was that I didn't want to go back to the post office!!!
