Lord John and the Brotherhood of the Blade

I love anything that Diana Gabaldon Writes, Outlander Series & Lord John Grey Series

  • Lord John and the Brotherhood of the Blade

I am an avid Gabaldon fan and recommend her books to all of my friends and family. I've read the first two installments of the Lord John series and found the first to be a bit of a disappointment. Nevertheless, I purchased and was pleasantly surprised by Lord John and the Brotherhood of the Blade. The Private Matter lacked the colorful language and passion I grew accustomed to in her Outlander series. I found a bit more of that in the Blade but would prefer more. I, also, also hoping to catch a few more glimpses of Jamie and/or Claire in the Lord John books. I am searching E-Bay and Half.com for a good deal on the next book in the series.

I have come to the conclusion that when reading this author that no detail is inconsequential and may wait five hundred pages, but it does eventually prove itself relevant. I love this about these stories among the many other reasons I could cite for loving them. Due to the sheer volume of this book (it rivals an Outlander novel), I will give a briefer summary than I usually do. Speaking of ...

  • Lord John books

You can't loose with a Diana Gabaldon book. Lord John is a great character and after I read one and I had to go find the other Lord John books.
