Beauty and quality!
I use the little composition notebooks to write down measurements when I'm doing projects. They are much cheaper than field notes and easier to obtain. (Can buy them at a local Wal-Mart.) The only downfall is they would usually get torn up in my pocket and from daily use, but I'm sure that would happen with field notes, as well. This cover is beautiful and well made quality leather. It smells and feels like you would expect from real leather. Just feels like quality. The pockets fits snug around a small composition notebook so that it doesn't slide around or come out. I added a little leather pen clip that I bought online to mine that matches it perfectly and holds my Zebra Slim Mini Pen.
