Great Radio I had to go on Line to learn how to set up Cross band repeater. the Manual did not say anything about setting it up. I was lucky to have the updated Model.

I used two meters and got these results: TYT TH-UV8000D Frequency HIGH LOW =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~= 140.000 9.22W 6.03W 142.725 9.84W 6.03W 143.500 9.98W 6.05W 146.355 10.40W 6.23W 440.525 10.50W 5.73W 442.000 9.86W 5.68W 446.252 9.57W 5.58W Few radios live up to the hype. This one does, however. I would recommend another antenna though. The short one is good for what it is, but the longer one would do better with a replacement. Try a Retevis RHD-771. Great radio.
