Book got here one time and it came from a library and was glad it had a plastic covering to help protect it ..About half way into it and learning Arnold had a brother at one time years ago before he passed away young..Always been a fan ..

His goal become a world champion body builder move to the USA become a movie star. AFter working hard and winning several world titles Arnold ends up in the LA Golds Gym that he read about in his teens. He is very intelligent and uses his mind and skills to make him rich in a scheme to sell bodybuilding phamplets by mail. As he lives on the fringes of the Hollywood set gets the lead in a cult movie PUMPING IRON which makes him a millionaire.He takes classes in English and Business and suceeds in the Great American Dream. He comes into contact with the lovely Maria Shriver who he will eventually marry. What we learn about Arnold is he maybe the worlds great ... We also see early in the book he also has the ablity to file any unpleasent events in his life in a *compartment* in his mind and get on with his life. When a shocking confession to Maria the day after he leaves political office has a son age 14 with their housekeeper leads to the end of his marriage. and his main explaination was he need to "keep the secret under raps"~ we learn Arnolds many FLAWS ands still this is a facinating bio. Arnold is ruthless in his mental goals. He made all his own decisions even after he was married including deciding to not tell Maria he was going to have open heart surgery or run for governor until a few days before he was to fun. WE see a man who has an EGO as big as he is. This is very well written and I give it 5 STARS as we Arnold up close and so very personal.

Great read about his life
It really doesn't get any better than this. Arnold Schwarzenegger's tell all autobiography about his life is incredible. From his rags to riches story living the American dream. Highly recommend giving this a read if you love the Terminator.

So far a great read and highly recommended to any Arnie fan!
I have been a longtime fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger. And I am currently reading his memoirs which I find quite fascinating. I finished Chapter 10 Stay Hungry which was the title of one of his early movies of 1976. And skipped ahead to Chapter 14 The Terminator. Which details how and when he was offered the huge starring role which turned Arnie into a Hollywood A lister.
