India - - A SUPER Product to Use to "Ebonize" Wood
My youngest son and I are fully restoring a 30 year old Fiberglass Inboard Ski Boat. The restoration will include designing, fabricating and installing a CUSTOME-MADE wood dash/cockpit area. It will be the ONLY WOOD in the entire boat. We want to make the dash/cockpit area to be DRAMATIC - - getting a-lot of attention. We plan to EBONIZE the wood that we have not yet decided to use -- given we want a BLACK "look" with the grain showing. I did a lot of research regarding locating the "right" product to use to EBONIZE the wood. I was able to find MANY fine reviews and recommendations regarding using SPEEDBALL SUPR BLACK INDIA INK as opposed to any type of wood stain. My son and I look forward to using the SPEEDBALL India Ink - - to achieve "the look" we are seeking. Sincerely Dr. DH ... Unbelievable price!
My use for this was a little unconventional - to dye the white glue around kitchen mosaic tile and I needed a lot of it, but couldn't afford paying $6 for 2 oz. This worked exceptionally well and at a VERY reasonable price, Oh yeah and FREE SHIPPING! THANK YOU!

I bought this ink to mix with graphite so I could make a conductive layer over plastic items to be nickel plated. The ink was thick enough to make a nice paintable smooth surface and dried evenly to polish before plating.
