    Me and my Ace 400

    I've owned Garrett metal detectors in the past and know their reliability in doing what it's intended to do. My only complaint with them is that Are heavy and tiring after a couple hours in the field. With my new Ace 400, it is very light and I really love its handling characteristics in the field. I'm very happy Garrett designed the Ace 400 the way they did, as I now can be metal detecting for the whole day not just for a couple hours. Awesome machine!! NC Borja

    First Garrett

    Iv always used another good brand of metal detector, And they are also top of the line. So I owed myself a try of the next good detector. The Garrett has done as well as for the price. I'm running it an comparing it. So far it's right up there with the other well knowns.

    Best turn on and go detector out there!

    The Garrett 400 has great depth, easy to use features and lightweight,I found a 1941 wheat back penny the first time out with it going over ground i have gone over since 1997 with other detectors, I have metal detected since 1986, Best detector i have used so far, And the price is right!

    Very pleased.

    This metal detector works great. Took it out of the box and put it together and immediately started using it. I actually found a set of keys I lost about 10 years ago in the woods. I knew the general area where they might be, but the detector pinpointed them and I dug them up about 3 inches deep. I am really looking forward to getting out and doing some detecting.
