I was looking so forward to the boxed set as described when I purchased, but only received the book, no cards. I sent message and pic of book only and the little plastic bag with all mail info. And in a day had a positive response from seller. Thank you for your quick response, and for making it right. I am happy to purchase from this seller in the future :)

  • Race Matters Still Relevant

Cornel West's groundbreaking work Race Matters is just as important today as when it was first introduced to the public in the early 1990s. Reading it afresh one is struck by how much hard work needs yet to be done in terms of both black progress on so many important levels and racial understanding in general. Many fine insights! These are scary times and we desperately need more voices to raise the alarm and cause attention to those of varied backgrounds facing oppression and prejudice on a daily basis.

I needed this book for a class that I am taking currently. It's cheaper than the bookstore which is good for me economically. I am glad I purchsed this book. It didn't take that long to ship so the book came in perfect timing. I reccomend anyone to purchase this book any time.
