    Lasts and lasts

    I purchased my first C-50 back in 1996. I have worn out 2 since then. They each lasted over 12 years! I'm sure they would have lasted longer, but I had a bad habit of leaving them out all year round(not recommended). I would highly recommend this De-icer for your Bird bath. I live a 7000ft alt., and it gets super-cold at night during the winter months. This de-icer has no problem keeping the water at 35 degrees.

    A HD Bird Bath heater equal to WI Winters

    Lighter weight heaters cannot prevent water freezing once temps are below zero. This 150W heater's heavy-duty extremely well made and has no problem. Had one like it last 10 years before needing to be replaced. Really glad there're still made. *Vendor's extremally responsive also, a BIG plus.

    Great water heater for birds!

    Love that it only runs when temps dip below 35 degrees. Nice flex cord so it can be draped over side of container. Light weight, heats great even in super cold temps. Highly recommend!

    Nice & small, but very short cord

    it's a very sturdy, heaving piece, ~6 inches across. my only complaint is that the cord is SO short. barely enough to get it over the rim of the birdbath. o/w, love it! and because it's just a circle/loop heater, not the type with vents and such, cleanup will be a breeze

    Keeping the birds alive and happy!

    This is my second birdbath heater in a month, the first one I bought was 50 watt and did not work, this little baby on the other hand is working like they are supposed to, we have unfrozen water now for all the birds all day long! Many thanks....
