Gotta buy the right stuff companies don't provide

The ram mount for my silly tablet logbook was mounted in front of the cup holder cause some genius thought it would be smart to put a critical piece of electronics under the cup holder. Well they used the cheapest and shortest connector of course which renders the cup holder useless. So I got an idea to look for a longer one on the internet and OH MY GOSH the first result of a search for one sent me to EBAY the all mighty of things obscure and useless but this time the saver of the day. The longer one is of better quality than the plastic original and gets my sensitive electronics away from the cup large enough to bathe a small child full of soda.

  • Bomb digity

Bought this because my mirror kit came with a tiny lil arm that wouldn’t let me see past my body. This was the length I needed. Took a tree branch hard last ride that loosened my handlebar mount but the arm stayed strong

  • Scooter or Motorcycle Mounted Unit

Perfect for getting the GPS map program closer to readable on my Yamaha majesty 400 Maxi scooter. You need to be able to keep it angled correctly, the short arm is just too limiting in real use. Light and shadows require different setups.

  • Excellent hardware

When you finally get tired of typical phone mounts failing, RAM is where you end up. Sometimes RAM is the only way to go from the start -- they don't sell suction cup mounts for my amateur radio at Best Buy. RAM may seem pricey at first glance, but I've spent a lot more on all my various failed and obsolete dash/windshield phone mounts put together than on a couple complete RAM assemblies. I'm using a large (phablet) X-grip phone holder, a round base, and this long dual-socket arm. I sucked it up and screwed it into the dashboard, and I've never been happier with how my phone is mounted.
