Very wobbly mount
The former ram mount I had deteriorated after 10 years so I bought an identical unit to replace it. I have a 7 inch Hummingbird GPS/fish finder unit. The new mount is extremely wobbly regardless of the amount of tension I place on the clamp hitting a wave caused the unit to fall against the dash on multiple occasions. I will be constructing a custom strut to the dash to stabilize it.

Mount is not sturdy
Bought this mount for a lowrance hds5 and it did not work. When I got it mounted the graph just bounced back and forth no matter how hard I tightened the handle. Not sturdy at all. Waste of money
