YES, the Gamo Swarm Bone Collector Gen2 opens up a can of pure whoop a$$ on all small game, targets and previously boring afternoons. It is a step up from the previous generation, and the scope is right on out of the box. There is a small chance that the pellet pusher can jump out of the groove if you try to break the barrel really fast. It is a easy thing to put the mechanism back in the groove.....but I suggest breaking the action smoothly, slowly and methodically to avoid that It happened to me once when fast breaking. If I wasn't paying attention I could have broken the all plastic componentry. So pay attention when breaking and try to be mechanically in line when breaking the action. This was my first "high power" and break barrel air rifle. I read and watched multiple reviews before landing on this model. The gen3i magazine is working great without malfunction yet. I gave it 4 starts for 2 reasons. 1. The eye relief on the scope is limited due to the fixed position of rings to rifle. You can only move scope within the rings. 2. The grip is very wide and even though it has laser cuts on the sides, it is very slippery. I do have smaller hands but regardless the smoothness and width make it difficult for a good purchase on the grip. Lastly, not to do with my rating but just an FYI, it is quite heavy, which I knew. Being my first break barrel, I wanted the classic wood stock. If I were to get another, I would purchase the synthetic swarm viper. Scope is adequate for the ... This .22 is a beast shoots quiet , more than my .177 , GAMO does it again, i had the old .22 Bone Collector Break barrel, and i thought that was good , this one Gen 2 is great ! love the 10x reload makes for fast next shot ! i actually ordered the Gen 2 Bone Collector, but this Gen 3i is what was delivered. apparently Gen 2's are no longer available. This version does not have open sights and the trigger and safety are plastic instead of metal. Other than that, I haven't discovered what's different, though I suspect there may be other production cost saving changes internally.
