The title doesn't warn you that this is a sequel.
This book is a sequel to After Dark. Make sure you read that one first. You can read this book independently but you will know the couple and follow the story a little better if you have read After Dark. After Dark is a touch better than this one. This book is part of a series that are paranormal and takes place on another planet. There are some words that are unique to this series and you have to learn the "lingo." It doesn't have vampires as many people think of when they see "paranormal." I think "Sci-Fi may be a more appropriate word than "paranormal." I have really enjoyed the series and have purchase the entire series. I really enjoyed Jayne Castle's (aka Jayne Ann Krentz, aka Amanda Quick)other series books and knew I would enjoy this series since I am also a Sci-Fi fan. Like ... loved the book , and really like the author , no matter what name she is writing under , just started reading this series and really like the books , it a little off what she normally writes but i really like it, its kind of a reverse earth.it a bunch of good books,,
