Don't waste your time or money
I was originally very excited about this bargain priced item, however less than 3 weeks after install the glue on the surround has come completely loose!! I figured even if the sound quality wasn't good 10 ish bucks a piece should buy decent glue! Boy was I wrong! Beside that fact, they are so quiet they can barely be heard when sitting directly beside them!

Great but not so perfect
Item was bought to repleace factory speakers in 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. the basket around the outside edge in the rear seems to be just a bit too large to be and exact replacement. Yet I did get the speakers to fit into the front doors I just did not screw them down fully tight. As for the sound from these speakers they seem to do the job I wouldn't really try to push them hard. I think a lot of the quality of the sound has to do with the radio that these are playing on. Yet considering I wanted to have new out the box speakers in my doors. These will do the job perfectly. I have two amps in the rear and did not plan to drive these with the amps. I turn the amps off and use these as my normal play speakers. You can't go wrong with these for the price. Since they are covered ... I've bought these 6x9s and wasn't expecting much from them cause of the weight and magnet size. But once I've hooked them up to my amp they sound punchy. And price that I got for 2 sets(4) 6x9s it's good if you are on budget. I'm happy with them

Decent speakers for the money- just using as a factory replacement in a mini-van. You get what you pay for- if you want to thump your vehicle- then no; do not buy. Spend the extra for higher end speakers. These work just fine for everyday listening.
