    Excellent teaching tool

Yes there is the traditional way for a young person or adult to learn to draw in 3 D but drawing 3D with cartoons is fun. I remember Mark from over 25 years ago when he was invited to speak at the teachers national art convention because he was such a popular learning tool. In fact this book has an excellent section for teachers. If you have a child or student who likes to draw this book is an excellent tool. It takes you from easy to difficult and is all step by step directions and work sheets. I have been teaching art for over 27 years and I still love to do the exercises myself as well as use it with students.

  • Best drawing how to for kids by far.

Mark Kistler was my go to guy for how to teach 3D drawing to kids. The language is supported by easy to interpret instruction. The book is fun to look at. Best wishes, it works for adults too, and does not duplicate other approaches. Kistler is a unique personality. We teamed up well together.

  • mark kistler's draw squad by mark kistler

i bought this book a short time back. it has taught me how to draw. mark has a very unusual method of teaching the art of drawing. he uses a cartoon basis for his teaching method and he does an exceptional job of this. there is a lot of repetition in his method. using this, your drawing will definitely improve, if you take the time to practice. practicing anything is important, drawing being no exception. if you will devote the time to it, your drawing will definitely will improve using mark's method and have a blast at the same time. i would definitely reommend this book to anyone young or old that wants to learn the art of drawing.

  • Drawing

The book takes you from simple lines to more complex drawings anyone can do . This is done by each chapter(lesson) as it guides you in clear concise print and demos. It is based on fun learning and instant achievement. The chaperts build on each other. What ever level of drawing you are at , all you have to do is open the book to that area and keep on advancing. If you work from beginning to end you will be able to draw anything you want. The book itself is large and folds open quite nicely. The print is easy to read and understand.Young or old if you have been drawing or would like to learn how , this is the book for you.You can become as creative as you want. By the way the condition in which my copy arrived was excellent. Hope this helps others. roys_paso

  • Best book I've ever seen to easily teach young and old how to draw in 3D!

I bought this book for the grandchildren of our good friend. They draw all the time, and I have not found a better book on teaching how draw instantly in depth. Not only is it easy to follow, but it's exciting for kids to see other kids art. This book is full of examples of kids art that used this book. As an adult, it taught ME how to draw also. I've tried many times, but this book made it easy. I am able to look at something and know how to draw it looking 3D. Buy the book. Don't ever hesitate!
