    A great guide to basic cooking

    this is a great cook book (clear instructions and good pictures)of basic Japanese cooking. One of the best things is that it is for people trying to cook Japanese food who are not in Japan or as in our case, moved away from NYC and all the great shopping resources it holds. She has the original recipe but then gives suggested replacements for ingredients which you may not be able find in your area. We had discovered it and taken it out of our local library REPEATEDLY and decided we needed it as part of our kitchen. It is one we will always use not just collect dust on the shelf. A great find! We will be buying the new one she just wrote next!

    book came very fast.recipes are simple and easy to do.works great especially when you are a beginner like me.would recommend it.Tastebuds need some time to adjust to it.Clearly healthy and good for you.
