Easier than drilling spot welds.
Great tool for efficiency in the body shop. Works better for me than the Blair bits to cleanly remove spot welds for panel replacement and is also useful for other controlled grinding and sanding. The 3M design is great, handle is comfortable for big paws. This is also spring loaded for constant belt tension and easy replacements. While there are other brands that are cheaper, this is worth the upcharge. Great tool for efficiency in the body shop. These little belt sanders are spendy. Replacing pickup bedside there were a few spot welds impossible to get to with anything else and did not want to cut sheet metal and butt weld so finally got one. Like many, am so glad i did and wish i'd got one sooner. based on reviews, opted not to go cheep, found best price on 3m and it is very quality product. If you do bodywork and don't have one of these, do yourself a favor, you won't regret it.These little belt sanders are spendy.
