My first good electric guitar was a Fender Strat in 1962. I was a senior in high school and in a garage band called the Sonics. I played that guitar day and night. It was the perfect guitar and after owning evrey other major brand guitar as Les Pauls and a Duo Jet, I kept coming back to the 62 Strat. When Fender started making reissues, I tried them out and found the old original feel was there. Fender American 62 Re Issue Stratocasters are worth the few extra bucks you pay for them......the 62 neck with the 7.25 radius Rosewood is my weapon of choice. The vintage tone is outstanding and lens itself to a wide variety of music. I just purchased a Japanese 62 foto flame Tr Issue to give that a spin. Heard good things about them. I'll be writing a review when I get it. 62 Fender American Re Issue.....one great guitar.Read full review
The real deal. Leo had it right from the beginning. What other design of anything has stood the test of time? Great investment. Banks don't pay much.....
