Good phone. Phone calls have a little muffled sound. Speaker is "loud". Camera is great, both rear and front facing. Just need to make sure it's on the highest setting. However, small amount of memory and NO SD CARD SLOT to increase memory size.

The battery on this phone doesn't last long at all. If I am doing something on my droid mini, the battery dies within an hour. On top of that, the phone will abruptly say that there is 0% battery and it just shuts off. Only then to find out that if you just turn it back on, there's whatever percentage left that you had before it shut off and it works fine. The "kevlar" outter protection shell, sucks. I am sorry but I dropped my droid one time and it now has a big hole on the corner. Overall, I thought this phone would be amazing, which it is in lots of ways, but I am disappointed. Guess I'll try again Motorola.

This is an excellent phone overall. My previous phone was an HTC One X (2012), and in my opinion, this phone performs better and takes up less space. Its battery life is about average. With minimal use, I can get the battery to last 2 days. With moderate use, it still lasts at least one day. I purchased an unlocked Verizon phone to use on AT&T. I did not have any trouble getting it to work on the AT&T network, but it does notify me on a regular basis that the SIM card is from an unrecognized source—a minor annoyance. I also have not been able to get it to work with AT&T's voicemail service, but that may be due to an issue with my voicemail account and not the phone. The call quality does not seem to be very good, but it's acceptable for someone who rarely makes calls. The phone interface is very easy to use, providing quick tray access to features like battery status, wi-fi controls, and other common settings. Droid Command Center, a widget pre-installed on the homescreen, is also a nice tool providing quick access to weather, clock, and battery. My favorite feature of this phone is the way you can twist your wrist twice to activate the camera, for photos on the fly! The quality of the pictures is also good. On the other hand, the camera software is not very robust, so for any manual control over your camera, you'll have to look to other apps. My least favorite features of this phone are that it does not have a slot for removable storage or a replaceable battery.Read full review
I love this phone, but if you don't know exactly what you're doing, then get your phone from your wireless provider. With that said, I do know what I'm doing so this was all standard procedure. This baby is fast, but Verizon has apps on here that I just wouldn't use, even if I was a Verizon customer. If I want an app I can download it. My last phone was an xt910 and the clock was downgraded with one of the software upgrades, this one is back to normal. Seems silly, but it drove me nuts. The physical down size will be an adjustment, but I feel like it will all feel the same once I get the new case on. All in all a nice upgrade to tide me over while I wait and see if my carrier brings in a flag ship motorola now that my contract is up.
Does everything a value smartphone should. Decent camera. NO sd card slot so it is NOT appropriate if you want to carry music and videos. After the basic OS it has 4.5Gb internal memory available for apps, music, or video files. Load a few apps and there is about 2 to 3 Gb for files. I carry some music for the car and swap files from the laptop. I will use it for 6 months and trade up to larger storage and a SIM card slot.
