If you want a G1 Wheelie that looks like the character from the 86 film, then then is it! I think the only other figure of Wheelie that comes somewhat close to being decent, outside of the US release of this mold or 3rd Party options , is probably the older and smaller updated Legends class figure, but that was an updated design and didn't look like his cartoon model. This version not only has better articulation but also transforms into the car from the film and has a passenger compartment which, if you have the Masterpiece Ultra Magnus, fits the Daniel figure very nicely inside. Additionally, Takara painted this version of this figure VERY close to his animation model, so if you're an accuracy buff, this is the version to get. The only real issues I have are that the vehicle mode doesn't tab together as well as I'd like, and that neither this nor the American version of this mold comes with his signature blue slingshot. If you happen to have the Deluxe class GDO Wheelie from a few years ago however, then you can use that slingshot and it will look great! Lastly they color molded his wheels in clear plastic and then painted the inside black to make them look like they are black but you can still see they are clear. Kinda a bummer but not a deal breaker for me. Despite a few flaws, this IS the best G1 Wheelie we're likely to ever get. This legend class figure is really good looking and head master can sit in wheelie in car mode. Much better looking than the Hasbro version for sure. The legend class shockwave is much better too. Great work and thumbs up to Takara Tomy for great toys....
