This is a battery powered shaver--if you expect it to be as powerful as a recharger, you are out of luck. For what it is, it works well. I've used it 15-20 times and have not yet noticed the batteries fade. The shave is good--not great, good. You'll have to trace the tough spots twice. For less than $20, what can you expect? In that price range, this is a great performer--it doesn't snag or nip at the face--on a one day growth, it does the job.

I purchased this piece of junk because I was going in to have surgery at the end of april. I used it a couple of weeks later from my hospital bed and after I was done and was about to put lotion on and realized that the razor this cheap feast of junk did not cut anything at all on my legs. Nothing at all, so do not waste your time. Since then I have tried it 4 or 5 more times, and still it will not cut anything it is a cheap piece of junk. And unfortunately I am stuck with it because the 30 days has passed, but again I did not use it the first time until about 6 weeks after I purchased it because of my surgery.

This little battery operated razor works better than my expensive rechargeable shaver! Nothing to plug in and the double A batteries last a long time. Very handy and easy to use. Highly recommended buy.

I needed to shave so used right away rate 4 star shave. Some stubble remaining not allot, for price and estimated months of use worth it. I need it only for hard areas like chin straight razor can cut you in that area. Did great on bottom lip baby smooth.
