Item came super fast, packed secure in a box. I bought this one as a back up (a lot of lightening in my area and, unfortunately, Ooma gets zapped through the cable box.) I cannot connect it yet, since I have one Ooma connected already, but I feel confident that it will be in working order when I need it. *Note for Ooma users needing to replace a Telo; you will have to call or chat with Ooma rep to change out Telos or else it will set up an additional account for you.

Great Sound and Easy Setup
I was not sure what to expect from Ooma, as I had never used an IP phone system at home. I could not be happier with this system. Setup took no more then 5 minutes and the sound quality is excellent with no dropped calls. I was able to get my number ported in less then a week, although there was a $40 charge for that. All in all I highly recommend Ooma to anyone looking to cut their home phone costs. I was not sure what to expect from Ooma, as I had never used an IP phone system at home. Echo and distortion problems to my connections (SE MN). Can't really rely on it.
Bad echo on some landline connections. Some calls with distortion or drops to cell phones. I only have a 3 Mbps upload but got no indication that was causing problems. Some calls are just fine but you can't really count on it. When I couldn't even understand my pharmacist last week, I decided I need to try to return or sell it.

I've used Ooma telo in my home since Jan 2011. Compared to a 40 a month phone bill I've saved about $2900.00 I'd call that a great value. My unit failed after seven years. Plugged this new unit in had Ooma update the serial number , running again in no time.

Excellent Phone System
Wish I had run across this phone system long ago.. it is all its advertised to be.. very clear voice, easy installation and the basic phone is a very good deal indeed. I was using Magic Jack for past few years and they quit supporting Win XP so I switched.. OOMA is FAR better than MJ and the basic phone is about the same price.
