I love my Ultrex! Works as advertised, love the spotlock and have also made use of the Nav feature and handle held controller. I considered the new trolling motors from Lowrance and Garmin, but the Ultrex was about $1000 less. I have had it for 5 months and used it a lot. Continues to perform well, very easy on batteries. I replaced a Minnkota Fortrex, which is a great unit. I would hate to go back to conventional trolling motor!
