I really enjoy these earphones. Mainly listen to classical and jazz, I have no complaints. Like them fine out of the box, no temptation to mess with the equalizer. The noise control is just fine, and it is unobtrusive with little or no hiss and little of that “head in a vacuum” sensation. The Bluetooth 5 on these phones is just fine. It’s the first BT I’ve ever heard that sounds as though it is wired-in. None of that weird “veiled” or “haloed” sound, and no noticeable latency with movies or YouTube on mis iOS devices. (Years ago I returned my XM2 versions mainly because of BT issues.) I do wish I could pair these with more than 2 devices though. The Sony iOS app is sort of a mess to figure out and use. I try to avoid it when I can. It’s overloaded with “features” and TLAs, when all I wanna do is listen to great music. I find it difficult to sort through “ambient sound”, “ambient sound control off”, and “noise cancelling” with just the one button (but I don’t have any bright alternative ideas), and I wish there were also a volume control on the earphones (without having to move the aforementioned features to the damned app). But as I say about so many of these miraculous little devices - it’s a wonder they work at all. The battery life of the earpieces - I’m getting maybe 3-4 hours, and I think I have all the extraneous functions turned off. It’s not a deal breaker, but it is literally a show-stopper if these things won’t last on a Boston to LA or Boston to Europe flight without pausing to recharge. They fit pretty well and securely. Wish they were waterproof. Also wish their weight (light as it is) weren’t cantilevered so far out from me ears. They go “clomp-clomp” acoustically in my ears as I walk. I bought these used for about $100, and they came is good shape, no complaints. I think if I’d payed $270 or whatever for them new, I’d be less forgiving of their little annoyances. But I mostly really like them and their wonderful sound! Read full review

The product is amazing. Sound quality is great, soundstage is wide but not like on open back headphones. The noise cancelling works well. Everything worked well except for the Bluetooth connection going in and out for a few times. Perhaps it is only on my ears but the right earphone would have a harder time staying on my ear, until I found the right ear tip fit. I would recommend this and for the price of 130$ usd I don’t regret a thing.

I don’t find the in-ear insert style to be vert comfortable. Need to have a tight fit for noise cancelling to be effective. This tends to create some pain after a couple hours in ear. Otherwise, I do like the features, case, battery and the app.

These are great noise canceling earbuds that have been around since 2018. They still out perform current technology units. Would love to get the replacement units MF1000MX4 but not at the current cost. These are better than my Galaxy Budd Plus in sound quality, application of my environment and sound selection. However, wireless charging would have been a nice feature on the Sony case.

The sound quality is very good. They are comfortable and easy to use. They connect easily. I have only had them a couple of weeks, but the connection cuts out occasionally. It is not terrible but a bit annoying. I do not have this issue with any of my other earbuds. If I were paying new price I would be pretty annoyed. These are used and perhaps they are defective.
