This isn't a stellar unit, but it's worth it for the price. It's very lightweight (great for moving, but with question longer-term durability.) The faux fur is loosely attached, stapled or glued at a seam. It's not connected to the underlying wood all the way around so you can see and feel it moving as your cat plays with it or pulls on it. The other thing I notice right away is that in the pictures all of the cylinders have a rope wrap in the middle of them. In actuality, only the three on the upper-most level do. The rest of the cylinders are all just the blue shag-wrap carpety fabric. Rope on all of them would have been a better design, as per the picture. A thicker fabric that was continuously glued to the underlying wood would have been better as well. That said, cat loves this thing. She plays around with the mouse at the top and loves to jump up and down levels. We keep her food on an upper level as we have a dog who continuously would love to eat her food instead of his own. She seems to have a lot of fun but doesn't sleep in the little apartments which I would have thought she'd hide in.Read full review

This is a nice looking cat tower, and is easy to assemble. However, it is NOT durable. The scratching rope posts do not extend the full length of the post, so the glued on blue carpet fabric is easily shredded and detached from the post by the cats clawing and scratching. The tower has now become quite an eye sore in the two months that I've had it. I have another tower with similar colors, but very durable full-length scratching (but was more expensive), bought from a different vender, that still is in good shape 2 years later. "you get what you pay for". Res ipse loquitor!

The big one that goes on top is fine but the little one on the bottom is way to small even for my teen cat. It’s more a like a kitten. I have 3 cat (1 teen, 2 adults) and it kinda makes me mad that they can’t use all of the tree. That’s my only dislike about it. Other then that it was easy to put together and fast on shipping.

This thing is pretty sturdy. My 13lb cat will climb to the top and though it sways a little there's no risk that it will fall over. It came with rope on only 3 of the posts (although the picture shows rope on every post) so the seller offered me a small refund when I contacted him about it. Very pleased. The smaller round hiding area (on the short post) is just big enough for my 8lb cat but she doesn't like to use it, I think kittens would appreciate it more. The round fabric basket thing holds the bigger cat surprisingly well. He doesn't really fit in it, lol, but though it sags a bit with his weight he finds it stable enough to use. I found assembly to be easy enough, no problems there. The blue fabric is nice and smooth and looks a lot better than the ones made with carpet. The fabric covering the upper hiding area (and maybe the whole thing) is a plastic backed. The smaller cat regularly climbs up the back of it to get to the top and while there are a few small holes nothing has ripped. The bigger cat can be vicious when playing and his claws have went through the same area, but it seems that the plastic just stretches a little at the holes instead of tearing. Overall I am very pleased with this cat tree especially considering the price. To be honestl I was pretty surprised that the cats use it so much; I was afraid it would be another "cat toy" that they ignored. If I do notice they're ignoring it and haven't been on for a few days I'll move it a foot or two in a random direction or turn it so it's angled differently; then it's immediately interesting again, haha. Cats are so funny. Read full review

On the plus side, this cat tree condo is huge, and the price was very good. Most importantly, my cat loves it. She especially likes sleeping in the little basket on the side. On the down side, it seems a little wobbly. So far it hasn't toppled over, but sometimes when the cat jumps on at high speed, I'm afraid it might tip over. Also, she made short work of the toy mouse dangling from the top level, but I suspect that was inevitable. If the base were a little wider it would maybe be more stable. We have only had it for less than 2 months, so we'll have to see how well it holds up over time. Other than that, I give it a positive review.
