Vacuum manufacturers' market research shows that making them sound loud and growl-y makes customers feel they are powerful. So, this is too loud; but they all are. It has good suction. It picked up more dirt than I thought was there. The tube for the vacuum connection for both the floor connector and the hand wand could be longer, but about twice as long so that the wand use doesn't require carrying the whole vacuum along. The attachments are several, and work very well. The unit is heavier than a "broom" type, but lighter than a standard weight. I haven't owned this long enough to know about length of life nor reliability yet. Overall, I am pleased with the unit, and may buy another in the future.

It has strong suction and it's easy to clean the canister of debris. Unfortunately it's quite heavy which makes it quite cumbersome to easily easily move around. That's why I am giving this 3 Stars.

Needed a vac for 2nd floor. Getting harder to carry Filter Queen up and down stairs. Hoover fit the bill. Vacuums very well. It's easy to use and doesn't use a lot of space to store. I am very happy with it! Plus, the price reduction was a great motivator!

We had an old Eureka bagless. A descent unit but heavy, clunky and couldnt get a replacement dirt cup. This Hoover is really what I hoped for. Its quieter and lighter than the old Eureka. Im pretty pleased so far. The removable vac handle is the best, along with the reusable and washable filter. Now, just to see how it does over time.

Pretty good. Sucked up a LOT of dust from my carpets and was surprisingly easy to empty. I always swore I'd never get a bagless vacuum due to the mess of emptying but it's not too bad.
