I have always liked the Dyson products and I appreciate the ease and convenience of having a cordless vacuum. I use it almost daily for light house cleaning, but pull out my corded Dyson for heavier cleaning. I find that the cordless doesn't like picking up "raised" objects i.e. piece of cat food or a popcorn kernel. You have to go over it multiple times & sometimes you just have to reach over & pick it up. It also says that you have 30 mins "non Max" running time and I find that I actually have 15-20 mins and at "Max" about 10 mins.

It has a short or something because I push the button and sometimes it won’t come on . I wait a couple of seconds and then it starts. It’s very light weight and easy to use.

This is the 3rd Dyson I've owned- great vacuums but they DO LOSE SUCTION after time. Compared to the corded upright style, it's much lighter & easier to maneuver but the main rug attachment does not pick up bigger particles so well like the stuff my puppy chews up & tears apart- little pieces of plastic, paper or fabric on both hardwood & area rugs, it just goes right over them- sometimes it grabs after a few passes but others time I need to pick them up by hand. I recently downsized to a small cottage style studio apartment that opens to a big patio garden and can not live without a good vacuum having 2 dogs. I wanted something compact & easy to store that would also be handy for quick clean ups in the kitchen area and for little leaves & twiggy things the dogs track in from the garden. The other attachments do a good job for the hard floors getting bigger particles. The rug attachment does a great job getting the dust & hair you barely notice- that is until it's in the cannister! We bought this to replace an Electrolux stick vac on which the batteries had died. We have two indoor cats. The Dyson amazes us at how much it will still pick up even after a thorough vacuuming with our Oreck. So far we're very pleased. It really is an amazing little vacuum. We also plan to take it with us when we travel in our motorhome and I bought an additional charger that will stay in the coach. As it is so portable, it also does a great job of vacuuming the floor mats in my truck. Our only complaint is that it should have some sort of trigger lock. Its a little uncomfortable to pull and hold the trigger for a length of time. Small matter as it otherwise performs flawlessly.

Its a great, lightweight machine!!! I had my husband install the charging dock in the laundry room, so I haven't experienced any issues with a short battery life. Its great for pet hair!!!! This is my second Dyson purchase, I use this one for small clean ups and hard wood floors.. Its also great for under furniture and in small rooms like a powder room. It is easy to empty and like mentioned before store on the charging dock. The dock also hold the accessories making them easy to store and easily accessible!! I am very happy with this product!
