Best weed whacker-type trimmer I've ever used! I got eight years out of my first one and I'm glad I was able to find another one to succeed it......Wal-Mart has sold its soul to the battery world and they don't carry these anymore, along with the trimmer spools. I don't like battery-powered tools because they lose their energy too fast and I want to get the job done instead of to wasting time charging up the unit, when I could instead be finishing the job!     Black & Decker trimmer

    This is a lightweight trimmer and edger very easy for seniors to use. The spool is very easy to replace. If you have a large yard to trim you may use more than one each time you use it. One problem I encountered if you bumped it against a hard surface to hard it will caused the spool to keep advancing line and you can no longer use it unless it is repaired.

    Ultimately a good buy, but...

    The trimmer was used but worked fine except that it was missing a part that controls the release of string and so all the trimmer string would be gone in less than a minute. I had to go online and buy the missing piece, and now it works. So this has to be a qualified passing grade. I only paid $25 but had to buy string because there was none. I had to get the manual online because there wasn't one, and I had to figure out what was wrong and buy the missing piece.

    Awesome! I am older and a gas powered trimmer is too heavy for me. I was worried it wouldn’t be powerful enough as I have a problem with blackberry vines on my property. This little gem cuts right through them, even ones as thick as my finger!!! Very satisfied customer.

    Easy to use with a lot of features

    Easy to put together from the box. Very easy to hold comfortably. Easy to extend the shaft. and adjust movable handle. Good cord hook up, stays in place. Very good power. Trims everything you need to trim, even really tall grass and weeds. Line keeps at the right length. Easy to use. Very Awesome Trimmer/Edger.

    B&D string Trimmer electric

    I just started using my new trimmer, the only thing that I'm finding that doesn't work as it should is the auto string feeder. I've been doing it manually and it's fine but really, advancing string feed should be a real easy engineering thing for B & D 's guys. My trimmer does a great job other than that.
