I previously had a Samsung 9000 Series 55" 4K UHD which I truly loved. However, after viewing the 65" Curved Screen, I was truly blown away. Even though the new one is 8000 Series, the only things I can see that I'm losing are 3D and an onboard camera, neither of which I used. On the other hand, the colors are even more brilliant and the curved screen adds a new dimension to viewing pleasure. Not to mention that this TV cost less than half what I paid for the 55" flat screen. The remote has a bit of a learning curve, but it's well worth making the effort. I can't conceive of ever wanting more in a TV. Thank you Samsung!

I love it. Sharp, bright, clear picture, and huge. My only gripe is that I am having issues getting everything to work through my Sony receiver. This necessitates the need for the cable remote to turn it on, the receiver remote to turn it on, and the tv remote to turn it on. I hung the tv on my wall on an articulating Harbor Freight wall mount that is strong and easy to assemble ($34.00) and the "One Connect" cable is too short to reach my electronic cabinet and there is no longer cable available for love nor money. Nor is there a coupling to joint 2 cables. This is why I say it's not easy to use. In fairness most folks have their tv in close proximity to components. I'll get it eventually. LOL

I'm very happy with purchase just hope it last a extended period of time with a full functioning status for many yrs. to come! PICTURE QUALITY STILLS VARY A LOT! Depends on the standard of signals coming from your dish or cable services which seem to be very far behind in picture quality and distinct with vast room for improvement! So the TV itself is capable but broadcasting services need modern updates to let these nice TV's can operate to their full ability! Quite disappointing that these companies serving our communities with TV packages at such a high prices with more then inept services is way out of touch with the fields need for modern technologies to suit these nice televisions more appropriate for them to shine more, seriously a problem more on the broadcasting services!!! Thanks but concerned!Read full review

Great tv with amazing picture quality and super easy setup to use my direct tv and Amazon Fire Tv. Had a small issue setting up my Definitive Technology sound bar, but I don't hold Samsung accountable for this. Also shipping was almost to fast. I went on vacation and thought I would have a couple weeks before it came in. To my sip rice it was there whenever I returned after one week. Was super suprised at how fast it was shipped and delivered.

I have always purchased plasma TVs for their superior image quality over LED. Today plasma is all but dead so I went for this Samsung 65" 4K. I am very impressed with the image. 4K is not a big deal to me, there's few people over 18 who can see the difference between 4K and 1080P over 10 feet away. This TV does true HDR (High Dynamic Range) and it's very obvious with the deep, deep blacks, pure whites and rich colors. The only downside is off-axis viewing where the image degrades if you're watching from a side angle, but that's one of the problems with all LED TVs. Overall I'm very happy with this TV, it's the best of what I've seen so far for an LED at a good price. If image is everything to you (and you're wealthy) go for an OLED.
