My girlfriend recently got a 40" Vizio TV and the quality is great for the price she paid. I figured I would try this Sound Bar after being impressed with her purchase and I have to say Vizio has won me over. For the price, this Sound Bar cannot be beat. Sound is clear and loud and Bluetooth support is the icing on the cake. Obviously pricier Samsung's will have slightly better sound but if you're looking for an affordable, good quality Sound Bar, this 29" Vizio is the way to go.

The thing that makes me say " Just OK" is that it does not play as low as advertised. The sound is very good, but 70 HZ ability, no way. I believe they used the frequency range of this product when coupled with the sub since it is also sold this way. Lower HZ then my TV speakers, barely and that what I was looking for. Not deep low bass but more than the stock speakers output.

i got my hubby 1 for Christmas 2016, he loved it as long as it worked. the sound is awesome, it doesnt take up to much room, and looks nice, BUT yes there is a BUT. for some reason or another we could NOT get it to stay on. No matter how many times we reset to factory it would play then go silent. so reset again n it would last for a bit then nothing again. so we gave up after a couple wks and returned it. NOW we are looking for something different. It was a great price, not to cheap, but not high dollar, poor folks have poor ways ya know. So you might get lucky and get 1 that works the right way. Not all are bad.. so i would recommend , the next 1 might be perfect.

For a soundbar the sound quality is really good. Obviously you would need to buy a bass speaker if you want to hear more depth but this speaker alone creates a very clear and crisp addition to any system. I used to have issues hearing TV shows and movies (so much so I'd have to put on subtitles at times) but now every word is heard perfectly. I have an older Panasonic TV... set up and understanding how to use the speaker took a total of 5 minutes.

Using optical to 55in vizio and it sounds great. (Be sure to turn off tv speakers in tv settings) settings that work for me...true sound on(for basic tv),hd sound on(for blurays or hd content),bass half way up,treble 3 quarters up. Tv remote works for vol. (Vizio tv) Voices are clear and bass is fine. Great for hd movies. Bass to me is fine. however you can get sub if you need windows to shake. One more thing, it will power off if it detects no sound source after about 10 mins? Dont be alarmed! Just tap the vol up once and it kicks back on.... Its a power save feature. Would be nice to have choice to turn that part off, but not a biggy.
