I was skeptical when I bought this kite, I don’t really like the wound rods… and I’m. Or a fan of collapsible kites, but oh man!!! This thing is a solid flyer!!! I recommend 150-200lb line. It has some serious pull in strong winds and is great if you have line laundry.

Thanks for the kind feedback. If you fly this kite in its recommended winds which is 5-20-mph the manufacturer recommends 50-lb. test line. On all of my reels I install 100-lb. test braided polyester line for a bit of extra safety. Thanks Again!
