I was looking for a smartphone with a good camera for less than $300. This one fit the bill. My G5s Plus version is a 32GB with 3 GB of RAM. (Normally, the choice is either 32GB with 2GB RAM or 64GB with 4GB RAM.) It is stylish, quick, and the sound is good. It has an HD display and the battery lasts all day, and then some. I am not a heavy duty phone user -- I don't do games and only watch the occasional video, so this one is perfect for me. The only complaint is that the notification light is not enabled for anything except some kind of low battery indication. I've never seen mine come on in the month that I've had it. I had to download an app that uses the screen to notify me of incoming texts and such. I've heard that you can root the phone to enable the notification light, but that's not worth the risk in my book. It is so sleek and slippery that I didn't even leave the house with it for the first week until I got a case and screen protectors. The dual 13MP rear camera is reportedly the same one that's in the Galaxy S7 and it does take very sharp, clear photos. It has a flash and even a fully manual "Professional" mode where you can set the ISO, shutter speed, white balance, etc. If you can live without the notification light, this is a great phone. I'm having a hard time getting my watch connected. The phone says that I don't have a sim card. I went to tmobile and they say it's in there. I'm not sure what to do. Maybe I need a new sim card because I love the motorola phone. I had the exact phone before this one.

Had a Moto G4 that needed replacing. Liked it enough to try a Moto G5S Plus. Sure glad I did! I put in a 128GB SanDisk Extreme memory card and formatted as internal storage. Works awesome! Great battery life, takes good pics and 4K video too. At $150, cost less than my old Moto G4 and works better and faster. Great deal!

Have had the Moto G5s+ for 2 weeks now and got used to the new navigation quickly. Moved from a Windows phone that I was happy with, but Microsoft quit supporting and it was showing various problems (such as all of a sudden not being able to connect to my home WiFi!). So after 4 years I gave up the Windows Nokia. The Moto was a great value and seems to be a solid phone. Thus far I am very pleased. Still getting acquainted with some of its capabilities, especially the camera.
