Yor 5 years I've been using a Markbass 210 Traveler cabinet. It's rear ported with a piezo tweeter. I cant get a good tone out of it. I tried different eq settings and different basses. I got a boomy bass tone and a honky tone, nice for finger picking but then the slap tone was also honky sounding. (harsh) As soon as I plugged my amp into this SVT 210 cabinet, Wow! Its deep, tight, clear and punchy! I love this cabinet and for half the price of the Markbass? It's awesome! I've just ordered another one for bigger venues. Can't wait to run them both.

Fit's great etc. It's made from vinyl. I wish it was made from the same fabric as most backpacks. I don't need the foam between the outer and inner shells ala a Tuki cover. But vinyl is old school. In this case, I'd prefer a modern fabric cover to an old school fabric

I bought this bass cab only from a review I read but knowing I used Ampeg products in the past, I know of the sound quality. It's very light and portable. It has a very good tone. Personally it's not enough for a medium size venue. But for practice and small pubs it will hold it's own if a quality bass amp is being used. I'm satisfied.
