Am new to the arduino world, have played with another board and thougt I'd try one of these less expensive boards. These boards do need the ch340g driver before using. A google search will bring you right to it. After install check the comport setting in IDE to match. Its very simple and quick. After that I successfully uploaded sketches and board is functioning perfectly.

Nice display and simple to connect. There is no way to adjust for accuracy so using this as a charge voltage display is not appropiate since the displayed voltage is off by 0.2 volts at 12.5V. This might explain why the showed no accuracy spec. I asked about means to correct the reading but no one knows how. Should have purchased a 3 wire connected display.

The Uno is a great starting point if you are just diving in. This Uno has been in use since it arrived and it's going strong. It's well made, and I'm able to push it to its limits. I have five sensors attached right now including a TFT display and I'm only using approx 50 percent of internal memory. It still has room for even more expansion. I have absolutely no complaints about this item.

This is my first encounter with Arduino and so far it's been a pleasant experience. The board worked perfectly and is better quality than I expected. I find the silk screened connector pins (on the connectors themselves besides being also on the board) useful. The only negative thing I can say is I think the USB connector should be a mini-USB instead of the clunky full size. It takes up space needlessly.

I use the Arduino 1.8.5 IDE on my iMac. Many of the Arduino clones will not work with the iMac because they use the CH340 usb. When i plugged this one into my iMac it worked right out of the box. I downloaded several different sets of code to it and it worked as expected. I'm very happy with this board and haven't had any issues or problems yet. The picture below is my LCD project. This Uno board came in the static bag and with the cable in the picture. The rest of items are not part of this item.
