While I loved the shiny metallic paint, it annoyed me that it would constantly chip off the TM2 figures. This variant is traditionally painted and is made with an obviously different type of plastic making it much more easily transformed and handled. Hopefully the faceplate wont snap off as easily, and if only they'd stop putting Autobot and Decepticon Logos on the TFU's repaints of Beast Wars figures.
