Toy guns are toy guns, what did I expect?
This toy gun set is exactly what it appears to be and would probably fill the heart of any young aspiring cowboy with joy. Very aesthetic, functional (as toys go), unfortunately it was VERY small. I mean it wasn't a toy of a anywhere near real sized gun/holster, it was "toy" miniature sized. I cant even hold the pistol in my adult hand. Great little toy set for the kids, but didn't work for my "costume".This toy gun set is exactly what it appears to be and would probably fill the heart of any young aspiring cowboy with joy. Hardly even classifies as a toy!
First of all, the picture is very misleading. The guns are extremely small. I was expecting them to be small, but not small enough for the length of the guns to fit into the palm of my hands. Second of all, going along the lines of my first point, the description is very misleading. The guns are NOT 8" long. They about the length of the average-sized smartphone. Lastly, do not buy this! Even if it's just a toy for a toddler, they're just too small. On top of that, they're ALL plastic...which is another very misleading thing about this gun set. Plastic, yet surprisingly durable
Let's be realistic, it's a cheap plastic toy made in China. Don't expect too much and you'll be satisfied. With that said, I was very surprised at the durability of these toy guns. The chrome paint is surprisingly durable. And the triggers still work. That surprised me the most. Usually, when you buy these from the local dollar store, the first thing to break is the trigger, hammer, or other mechanical part inside the gun. I bought these for a cowboy birthday party and both my sons and all their friends have been playing with these non-stop for the whole weekend and it still has not broken.Let's be realistic, it's a cheap plastic toy made in China. Don't expect too much and you'll be satisfied. With that said, I was very surprised at the durability of these toy guns. The chrome paint is surprisingly durable. And the triggers still work.
