    Maybe our president should read it.

    The book gives the reader an alternate view of money. There are tools to help gain control of finances. It helps the reader value dollars in terms of time, of which we only have so much. Also, it warns of the evils of debt. Trading all of your life's energy for things will not produce prolonged happiness. Our society has become obsessed with money and things. The book teaches how to live comfortably on reduced income. These days that is valueable.

    Revolutionize the way you think about work and money

    The writing is a bit clunky and silly at times, but that is the only negative thing I can say about this book. It was recommended to me years ago, and I went back and read it again. If you read it slowly and let it sink it (i.e., do the steps), it will completely change your view of money - what it is and whether you have enough of it. It had another surprising effect which was that it changed my view of work and retirement, as well. I highly recommend this book for anyone who feels like money matters are beyond their control or are mysterious.
