Probes work fine, so far (only a few days of use). Workmanship is very good. They square up nicely on my old Tektronix 465B and seem to maintain low noise and good accuracy. I have tested them for flatness up to 40MHz with a sweep function generator, and they match my Tektronix probes as close as I can see. I had no problem with loading or breakdown looking at a 350V p-p ultrasonic cleaner drive signal. Normally, I am interested in signals from DC to a few MHz, so these meet my needs. The slip-on hook probes work, but are not as fine as I would prefer - they are a little bulky and tend to short in tight places - but that's a common complaint with most standard-size probes. Since my probes usually reach end-of-life when they are accidentally damaged one way or another, these will likely last as long as any, for a lot less money than most.Read full review

The wires are pretty light weight. The clips are not to my liking, but for others they my be ok; they are a little heavy and awkward in som places where you might want to connect. Actually, I’m going to look for something else.

Did not know anything about this make of probe before ordering a set. I needed a new set quickly and was not too concerned that they be high-end. Most of my work is vintage audio and not demanding. I took a shot on a pair by the Ace Team. I was happy, happy, happy! Packaging of the two probes was first rate. The probes came packaged in a very nice, reusable plastic storage bag. The bag itself appears to be non static although it was not indicated as such. Whether it is or is not, the reusable storage bag is a nice touch and speaks to the quality of probes. Everything was included with these probes and neatly arranged in the storage bag. Included were the two probes, probe tips, sleeves, color marking bands (a nice way to keep the channels separate), and a screwdriver for compensation adjustments. Not that compensation adjustments were needed. I dropped the new probes onto my Tektronix TDS-340A and did a calibration. Peak shape was perfect right out of the box both at 1X and 100X. I am very impressed with the probes from Ace Team. Next set I need I will buy from these guys. DaveRead full review

I am an electrical engineer by profession. I ordered these for my home bench setup. They look and feel a lot like the probes you would get with one of the name brand scopes. Probes are lightweight and compensation adjustments works properly. My only beef is that the probe tip hook covers are more than a little tight to remove and insert. Takes a lot more force than one would think. You need to keep pushing til you hear a solid snap. I was fooled into thinking I had no signal on a test point til I realized that you need to get a little medieval on the tip covers.

Precision scope probes can get very pricey. I'm glad to see they've come down somewhat and these general-purpose probes were just what I needed at a reasonable price. They work fine with my aging HP 2235.
