great upgrade
the tractor came with a shorty filter. It couldn't handle the dust here. I tried the high filtration upgrade. Not much improvement. These full size upgrades really work. Drained oil is black, but it is thin without particles like from the short ones.

Spend a few extra dollars and get a real name brand filter. Your engine will be glad you did. I thought this was a genuine Briiggs & Stratton filter from the description.Shame om me for not spotting. Filter is going in the trash.
