    I ordered this for my sugar gliders because it was described as for small animals and the spacing between the bars are too big to use it for them, I just had to order a different cage and I’m out $84 because I throw away the box thinking the cage was what I needed. Disappointed. Quality is good but not what I thought I was getting!

    Not as described

    I intended to use this cage for some orphaned squirrels that I "inherited"... Having not adopted any small animal in many years, all of my cages had "disappeared" during my lengthy illness. I needed a cage that would house small mammals such as ferrets and rats and other animals that are small in body mass. This cage was advertised as such a cage and I ordered it. When it arrived the instructions and uses for the cage described it as a large bird cage, and it would have worked for a large bird cage (parrots?) but, even though it described it for ferrets, rats and rabbits. The spacing of the "bars" of the cage would not even presume to be useful for "rats" and "ferrets" simply because of the nature of the animals as well as the spacing of the bars.     Do NOT buy for a RAT

    This product would be okay for bigger type of smaller animals such as a Guinea Pig. My adult rats can squeeze themselves out of it. The only adult rat that couldn't escape was my male rat which they tend to grow bigger than the females.

    Unexpected guest!

    Unexpected guest need for baby orphaned Opossum till spring, mother and siblings were killed. Not sure I would use for rabbit BUT great for other small animals that love to climb bar spacing 7/8" inch!

    Not for a small animals

    Your front and rear cage piece are the correct size but your side bars should be the same size apart as the front and rear. My rat can’t get out the front or rear but can through the sides. I think this is a poor design
