Doesn't fit.
Spent 2 hours trying to get this connected and gave up. Went to salvage yard to get an old OEM and it went on in less than 2 minutes. The orifice ends which attaches at the firewall is different design than OEM and makes it difficult (and in my case impossible) to attach. The material used for the connecting lines is so stiff you need to put in a vise to bend it. It appears that unless the original item is perfectly aligned...it has no chance to attach along the firewall. Anyone replacing this line knows how much you have to snake it into place and then adjust it just perfectly to get it to attached on both ends. Lack of ability to adjust while in place makes it worthless since you can't get it to fit. I've done a number of these A/C replacements on Taurus and Sables and with this ...
