Be sure your Batteries are good !!
I have an application that uses 12 AA batteries and one of the issues is knowing when the batteries and still usable and when to discard them. This unit places a load on the the battery and you are able to know with surety that when it is in service and needed it will respond. Battery tester
Seems to do a good job. The battery holder has no spring or tension to hold battery in testing position so to manually hold the battery in the slot and keep tension and turn the face to a reading position can be cumbersome.
