Young Danny Madigan is alone in a dark theater watching the latest action flick starring his favorite movie actor, Jack Slater. Suddenly, because of a magic movie ticket he received, he is transported from his seat into the film itself. He now gets to live out his fantasies, fighting along side his hero.<br><br>With Danny as your sidekick, you portray Jack Slater through seven levels of Hollywood-type action. Two of the levels place Jack behind the wheel of a car in the midst of a high speed chase, running down mobsters, and dodging obstacles, manholes, and double-parked cars. The other levels consist primarily of Jack punching and kicking bad guys, most of whom brandish knives, guns, or baseball bats. Based on the 1993 Arnold Schwarzenneger film of the same name, Last Action Hero for the Super Nintendo takes place in New York City neighborhoods, gang-ridden streets, a funeral reception, a movie theater, and on top of tall buildings. Even though the storyline involves a sidekick, this is a one-player game.

Last Action Hero (Super Nintendo)
This game is PAINFULL. I mean, I didn't expect much... but not THIS. I am a 16-bit wizard, some may say, but after tries and tries and tries, I can't make it past the first level, THE FIRST LEVEL. You know what your attacks are? Punching and kicking. The punch wouldn't be so bad, if everybody didn't have a long-range weapon to hit you with. The best way to reach them is by kicking, but for how delayed the controls are, it's not even worth it. Next to Terminator 2, this the worst SNES game I own. Which is ironic because the music is nearly identical in both games. I know it's common for game companies to re-use their own music, but these are two separate companies!This game is PAINFULL. Terrible just terrible not even worth playing even if you find it for cheap. It follows the plot of the film but the film is way better than this. Basically you have a jump, punch and kick buttons but no way to block attacks. You'll easily die in the first level with enemies coming at you with bats, knives, and bottles that are lite with fire that burn you. I could only make it to the second level before dying.Terrible just terrible not even worth playing even if you find it for cheap.
