This came out in the late 1980's so it includes most of my favorite Ramones songs from the Rocket To Russia albums and the First Two L.P.s as well as 'I Wanna be Sedated',(HOwever, "Spiderman" ,their take on the theme from the old animated TV show series, and "Carbona Not Glue" which was on the original pressing of 'Leave HOme'are both missing). There aren't any real surprises here, but it's worth checkin out especially for fans and old time punks and anybody who remembers the end of the Seventies with the nostalgia it deserves. These guys were god-like at a time when rock was .... mostly quite stinky. Later when punk became by-the-numbers formula bullshit, and hardcore just got real stoopid, they kept their humor and just kept pluggin' away. I miss them terribly.

i always heard of the ramones and never been a big fan of theirs till now. i bought this cd out of curosity. after listening to the cd i was blown away how good this band sounded and how tight a unit they were. i gave this album overall 5 stars. songs are fast tight and well written never mind that this band has impeccable timing.i love joey ramone's voice he was a true master.too bad we lost him so soon in life. the ramones really rock.
